I saw Dr. Carrau for 2 cancer/pre-cancer excisions on my face. The scars, both probably close to an inch long, are visible only under magnification. I’ve had several cancer excisions over the last 10 years - she is by far the best plastic surgeon I’ve seen. I know when I see her next, there will be no need to worry. It’ll be like nothing ever happened. She is a treasure!

Unfortunately after going twice and having horrible customer service both times I have to give it a one star. You will wait a lifetime for your scheduled appointment regardless of being earlier (15-25 min) and prepared each time that is. I booked here as they were doing their client appreciate week and I wanted to try a service, I booked and paid the $50 deposit, 60 min prior to my treatment I was called and asked to come 30 min later because the laser was double booked, I advised the receptionist I couldn't do this because not only did a have a prior consultation with them before but I had an appointment after, she gave me attitude not understanding why I couldn't make this adjustment. I asked to come in just for the consultation at this point, she said that was fine. I was waiting for 45 min by the time they took me back, the PA was very nice but the service was rushed and the price she quoted I feel like was a made up number as it changed before finalizing it. They did try to say at this point I could get my original scheduled treatment done , at this point 30 min into the scheduled time for that original treatment because they could do it real quick. It was suppose to be a 60 min treatment, I was not going to be rushed through a service that I was paying for. Needless to say I gave them a second try and nothing changed, you need to work on your front desk customer service and appointment times.

Dr. Herne was and is amazing! My mom had to do the MOHS surgery on her eyelid. As you can imagine, my mom was nervous and stressed out for the surgery but Dr. Herne was gentle, patient and reassuring! The surgery was successful, as the cancer is now gone and we could not be more grateful for Dr. Herne and her staff! Thank you so much!
